365 Capital – Press Release
365 Capital has made its fourth investment of the 365 Capital Fund I in Rojo Steigerbouw. Together with management, 365 Capital acquired all shares from the founders who launched Rojo Steigerbouw in 1982.
Over the last 39 years, the founders, management team, and employees have developed Rojo Steigerbouw into one of the most prominent Dutch scaffolding construction and rental services companies focused on serving clients active in the construction industry. The company is based in Delft and has a secondary office in Swifterbant.
Rojo Steigerbouw distinguishes itself from competitors with committed employees, who provide high-quality services to its customers through hands-on advice, engineering, drawing services, calculations, assembly, disassembly, and rental and logistics of various scaffolding systems. Rojo Steigerbouw is employed by most major construction companies in the Netherlands and recently enjoyed significant year-on-year organic growth. They are known for carrying out complex scaffolding projects safely and efficiently, within agreed time and budget. Most employees of Rojo Steigerbouw have been with the company for more than ten years.
The founders initiated the sale process led by Pointer Corporate Finance earlier this year. The founders are pleased that the company has found a new partner in 365 Capital and believe this will ensure the continuation and further development of Rojo Steigerbouw.
Fred Enterman, Managing Director of Rojo Steigerbouw, says: “I am happy and grateful that the former owners have reached an agreement with 365 Capital and that we can continue to build the business with the same, trusted employees. In recent years, Rojo has grown into a company in which teamwork and safety are central. I see it as a challenge to further professionalize Rojo. The management team is looking forward to working with 365 Capital. We have a positive outlook on the future.”
Hayo van Houten, Partner, 365 Capital, says: “We are impressed with what the entrepreneurs, the management team, and other employees have built up in 39 years. Rojo Steigerbouw is a real ‘people’s business’ whose success is based on its committed and high-quality professionals and services. We are looking forward to expanding the business further in the coming years together with management led by Fred Enterman and Jacob Plantinga and the rest of the Rojo team.”
The sellers have been advised by Pointer Corporate Finance, Van Dam & Kruidenier Advocaten, and Mazars.
365 Capital has been advised by Cleber Advocaten and KPMG.
